Objectives

The main objective of the Master in Financial Engineering is to train professionals who master the design, analysis and development of complex financial products. The MSFE is particularly distinguished by its focus on African financial markets.  It is a training to accompany an integrated emergence of Morocco in its continent and to establish its role as a major platform of the African continent in the financial services sector.

Career Outlook

At the end of their Master’s, graduates generally work in the finance departments of companies, Stock Exchange Companies, Investment banks, Insurance, Pension funds and Regulatory bodies (CDVM, MFB). Candidates will have the opportunity to work in positions such as financial analyst, risk manager, CFO, etc. At the end of the master’s program, students interested in teaching and research can apply for a PhD program.

Qualifications  :

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree (BA) or equivalent (Bac+3) in applied mathematics, statistics or computer science. Given the nature of our Master’s degree, basic knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, computer science (algorithms, programming) and databases is recommended. Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their skills and motivation.

Students must take an internship during the 4th semester of their course (February - July). It can be in Morocco or elswher and ABS will support you in your search.

• The mandatory six-month internship is aimed at applying the knowledge and developing the skills acquired during the first

three semesters of the training.

During this professional period, the student will be expected to take on responsibilities / lead a project with an international scope.

• The host organization can be a Moroccan company or an international company based in Morocco or abroad.
